History

Our organization was born in 1993 out of the huge necessity that existed in Guatemala, to capacitate young adults and women in academic, orientation, motivation, communication and excellence fields. After 2001, we began a new project in the organization, oriented to specifically develop and promote roles for women all over the nation. We organized an event called “Exposición de la Mujer” (Women Expo) with the presence of more than 20,000 people.

Presently in 2006 this event will be called FESTIVAL DE LA MUJER (Women's Festival), it is directed specifically for women in capacitating fields and institutional help; constituted a non-governmental organization it is named Por la Vida de la Mujer Guatemalteca (For the life of guatemalan Woman).
